Link posts will be limited due to limited time this week, and possibly next. My wife and I have just moved into a new house. Our first house what we paid with our very own money (and another nine times in the bank's money.)

It's in Falkirk, which given we both work in Edinburgh makes our commute a slightly lengthy one. But still shorter than if we lived in London, say. Did I mention that our house is awesome? It totally is. The living room alone is bigger than one entire floor of the overpriced rental we're leaving behind. It has four bedrooms. It even has four toilets.

We now own a house with multiple toilets. WTF, dude?

We also have a family wedding to go to in Monmouthshire in Wales on Saturday. Oh, and my wife is just about 31 weeks pregnant. I'm trying to remember why I thought moving right now was a good idea.

Ah, wow, so many congratulations :) I didn't even know you had got married, let alone had a baby on the way... it's amazing what we've become compared to St Andrews twelve years ago.

Thank you! And yes- we definitely considered the size of the house as a factor when we bought it. Something for us to "grow into" as it were.
